We are taking a look at the Altec Lansing AHS602i gamers headset, which includes many features that may appeal to the hardcore gamer. I planned to use them for WoW, but never actually got them to work as an in-game mic. That may have been a compatibility problem but still a massive pain and it seems like it really shouldn't be difficult to set up a new mic headset.
